Pope Francis made an announcement concerning the Armenian Genocide on Sunday April 12, mentioning that nearly a century ago took place mass murders of Armenians which is the 20th century’s first genocide. Turkish officials ramped about this announcement and do not miss an opportunity to express their evil thoughts. A series of publications referred to the liturgy, quoting Pope Francis’ words. Recently, the American New York Times wrote that Turkey’s minister on European Affairs Volkan Bozkerin has delivered a speech on national television and said.
-“All Argentineans and the Pope as well have been brainwashed by the rich and powerful Armenians who live there”.
Volkan Bozkerin explained in “his own way” how they could Argentineans learn about the 1915-23 mass killings of 1.5 million. And even though he had presented no evidence, but he expressed the idea.

While giving an interview to “Aravot” political analyst Hrant Melik-Shahnazaryan referred to the Turkish minister’s comments considering them quite natural.
-“They are trying to justify themselves before the public using different reasons, trying to explain, however, why the Catholic world took such position, as Turkey was making serious effort to avoid the reality. The Pope visited Turkey last year and was well-received, besides Turkey was trying to shift The Pope`s interest from the main issue by sending to Vatican high-level delegations. Turkey did not get the desired result and now is trying to explain the failure of his policy. Naturally, when trying to change reality and show the public the false reasons why the other leaders accept the historical reality, it is clear that the e expressions done by Turkish authorities seem useless and foolish. Turkey is under the control of these fool remarks and every statement made is worse than the previous one. This is the inevitable consequence of Turkish deniable policy and if such behavior continues, of course, Turkey will be more confused, “- said the analyst.
