Worldwide famous singer Charles Aznavour has recently given in an interview to Nouvelles d’Armenie which, to put it mildly, did not like some people; even some well-known public figures began to criticize Aznavour. The reason is that the singer while talking referred the fact that Armenia is emptied day by day, referred the President and compares of the future of the country with empty snail shells. The singer wonders what the benefits are.
-“Only 3 rich hooligans benefit, three Mafiosi. What happened to the hundreds of poor people scattered across the world? I am concerned with that all. And after all that some people still cling to the term “Genocide”, which denies Turkey. Armenia is in serious danger, and people still cling to the “Genocide” word. I do not understand how it will help the country to move forward. Where does this logic lead us?”
Being very concerned with these problems the singer added that the authorities claim that 3.6 million Armenians are left in Armenia, but according to him, it’s a lie.
-” There are only 2.3 million, a little later, that number will reach 1.8 million, then 1 million and that is what will remain in the hands of the mafia. Who are we relying on for the well-being of our country, the Chinese?”-he said worriedly.

After Aznavour`s interview the army of people at social networks started to criticize him saying.
-“It is easy to worry for Armenia at the distance”.
It was also emphasized that Aznavour considers himself a Frenchman and etc. The above mentioned interview was followed by another one given to Europe 1 television, where Charles Aznavour, referring to the 100 anniversary of the Armenian Genocide said.
-“I am going there because my friends will not understand, if I do not go “.
Despite the fact that it was noted previously that he was not going to be present.
To the criticisms heard after the famous singer`s conversation turned publicist Karine Hakobyan, noting that what said Charles Aznavour, neither was new, nor it was the first time.
-“Charles Aznavour has done a lot for Armenia. He is a special person for us, so he should not be judged by ordinary standards. I still think that April 24 should not be tied to anything. Political or other issues should be left for later, but if he found it convenient to speak about it on this occasion, he had right to do so, and he considered it right”.
-“We must talk about the about the migration with the same intensity as we talk about the Genocide. This is what the singer meant, and was not the first time that the he had mentioned this problem. We cannot talk about him as it would have done a politician. I do not accept such criticisms related to this person.”- said Karine Hakobyan.
