-“In fact there are preconditions in the Armenian-Turkish protocols. He spoke about only 1 condition, to give Artsakh to Azerbaijan, but in reality it is the third condition, which was not fixed in protocols”, – said to “Aravot.am” the Heritage party member Armen Martirosyan in respond to President Serzh Sargsyan, who told the international media that Armenia is not ready to begin relations with Turkey on any preconditions .Talking about the protocols, Serzh Sargsyan said that it is desirable for us to certify the protocols.
-“I have not taken out the signs of the Republic of Armenia from the protocols. I think that the Turkish authorities still have time to ratify the protocols. When they ratify, it is not time consuming for our national legislation to send the records to the National Assembly”. Serge Sargsyan noted on the precondition that name Turkey.
– “They say, these documents must ratify the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations. In other words, we do not set any preconditions, Turks set preconditions to the Armenian-Azerbaijani relations”.
Armen Martirosyan, indeed, mentioned that it was meaningless to recall these protocols from the Parliament.

Serzh Sarkisyan replied.
-“The only our desire is that Turkish authorities state that there has been a genocide of Armenians in the Ottoman Empire, the planned extermination of thousands of people living in these areas. This is our expectation”.
Serzh Sargsyan does not mention any requirement in this regard, to our question of whether President is cheating the international community, because he knows that it will be followed by a clear process, Armen Martirosyan said.
-“This is a minor diplomatic vocabulary. But in any case, Turkey knows international law, and it is well known that the recognition implies its consequences. It is a norm of international law and the consequences of it all entail the return of everything taken during the Genocide. The Turks know very well that Serzh Sarkisyan cannot be president of Armenia forever, who only requires the recognition. Realities are changing, people are changing, the world`s political situation is changing quickly, so I do not think that there are naive people in Turkey that do not understand: the recognition will be followed by a claim. If it were not so, I think the Turks too long ago would have pronounced that word and would have got rid of the international community. But because they know what is going to be after the recognition, they do not recognize the Genocide. Armen Martirosyan was asked by “Aravot.am”
-“Serzh Sargsyan says that the closed border with Turkey isn`t vital for us, do you agree with it?’
Armen Martirosyan said.
-” I really agree with this idea. Of course, no one doubts that it would have been beneficial for the economy of Armenia if the border is open. But it would have been beneficial for the economy of Turkey as well; there would have been positive developments for the region. Is the management system vital for Armenia? Is aimed at the development of the country, or just like now, at the stagnation and degradation?
