Often in the Facebook, you can meet “instructions” of material distributors, “quickly share”, “you should read it” and so on. As soon as I see such an “instruction”, something inside me is blocked, and I refuse to even read the material, which I would read in another case. It reminds me of the modern TV show “sitcoms” (situation comedies), during which, in the opinion of the authors, a recorded laughter is heard off screen during a well-aimed humor. In other words, it is assumed that I am so stupid and devoid of humor that I need to “be instructed” where to laugh and where not to laugh.
I have the same feeling when I receive a message saying to join something or to “like” something. Or, even worse, when without asking my opinion, I am forcedly “stuffed up” into this or that group. This means that someone knows better than me which of the groups I should join. And if I do not meet the expectations of this “someone”, he can strongly become upset and disappointed with it.
“A smart man seeks not so much solitude as he tries to avoid the emptiness made by the fools,” wrote the German philosopher Arthur Schopenhauer. Emptiness comes particularly from a group mentality when you try to make the individual’s approaches in compliance to the standards suitable for you. It is the same as one comes to me and complains that he has poor vision, and I would take off my glass and say, “Take this and wear it, it helps me.” In other words, in this case, I’m sure that what helps me helps all of the mankind.
People are stronger together than individually, the unity of various forces is much more than the simple summand. Simply, this unity should be a/ organic, b/ voluntary. This is true in the politics too. Do you remember that there was a “Unity” alliance that more or less honestly won the majority during the 1999 parliamentary elections? Why did this alliance collapse when its distinguished leaders were executed by shooting on October 27? Because the unity of the former communist nomenclature and the “Soviet” nostalgia, on the one hand, and “Yerkrapah” volunteer force, on the other hand, was not organic and voluntary. The same can be said for all of the other “national concords”, “unanimities”, “unities”, “consolidations”, “popular movements”, “Quartet” and “Trios”. Consolidation cannot be with blackmail or money, it occurs only on the grounds of the basic values. And they are not only missing, but are ridiculed by almost all political forces.
