There are no police and protestant at the presidential residence in Latvia

June 22,2015 13:50

The presidential residence in Latvia is located in the capital Riga, in the section called an “Old City”. The building immediately attracts the tourists visiting the country with its interesting architectural solutions. For the tourists who live in Armenia perhaps this will not seem a presidential residence at the first glance. Here, they will not see policemen and “patrols” guarding the building, nor people who hold a sit-in and hunger strike. Everywhere you can see only tourists and ordinary passers-by willing to be photographed. In this kind of “indifferent situation”, the presidents of Latvia probably do not need to be protected, they do not see a problem of ensuring security.
