If I assume responsibility for something, then I should draw the boundaries of this responsibility. For example, I am responsible for all the writings in “Aravot” newspaper and Aravot.am online and I bear no responsibility for other newspapers and online materials. I bear the responsibility for my words in “Shant”, “A1 +” and “H1”, however, I am not responsible for the news or other political matters broadcast by these TV channels.
Followed by the same logic, if I am organizing a protest in the Baghramyan Avenue and someone wants to blockade Mashtots Avenue, then either I should say that I have also organized this process and take the responsibility for the people who are on the traffic road of the Mashtots Avenue, or I should say that I have nothing to do with it. To say nothing or to say, “It is the people, it is spontaneous,” it seems to me that it is wrong. Anything “spontaneous” contains organizers and those responsible. Perhaps, instigators.
If Sasun Mikayelyan, Ruben Babayan, Vahan Artsruni, Yeghishe Petrosyan, Hovhannes Azoyan, Aram MP3, parliamentarians and a number of other people known to the public are in Baghramyan Avenue with the intention to exclude violence with their presence, then they (and I among them) bear responsibility within the framework of this mission.
What do the young people demand? Are they satisfied with the steps taken by the authorities? Do they want to stay in Baghramyan Avenue or to leave? What are the police going to do? We can have different views about all of this. The only issue on which there is a consensus is that there should not be any violence. I do not understand why such an approach makes some people angry.
