Argishti Kiviryan, the Coordinator of Armenia Today, being the only one of all the protesters detained to various departments of the police yesterday from Baghramyan Avenue to bear an administrative responsibility, considers a subsequent order from the series of persecutions launched against him. “Currently, one criminal and nine administrative investigations against me is filed, this is just another administrative case, which the police has filed against me. Obviously, this was an order issued from the top trying to obstacle my social activities,” said Argishti Kiviryan. According to his words, he was detained at the moment of carrying out a peaceful demonstration. “No demand was voiced by the police, moreover, I had the right to carry out my protest action.” He called the Deputy Police Chief Hunan Poghosyan a “liar” for asserting that no administrative charges were brought against any protesters detained. “He stands up and says these lies that no administrative charges are brought against anyone, I can show the documents, even though I have nothing to prove, it is not new that I know that they are liars.”
