The meeting of the journalists in Tsakhkadzor with the ANOC Secretary General Hrachya Rostomyan and senior free wrestling national team coach Arayik Baghdadyan covered also the issues related to the European Games in Baku. Aravot.am was curious to know whether fighting in the atmosphere in the competition match in Baku made our athletes mentally strong, hrachya Rostomyan replied, “On my side, I will try to give a clear and specific answer before and after Baku.
Now, I do not imagine that I can appear in a place and be scared or restrained. Since my childhood, I was mostly scared off the dogs. But after Baku, I have begun loving dogs. Generally, the sense of fear in my, this psychological barrier is gone. I’m sure this is true for the others too. As for the athletes, I think this psychological feeling should be stronger. When you are passing through the hell, the rest is not so terrible. I believe our athletes will be stronger than me in this regard.”
