High Vibration of Soul

July 30,2015 12:58

We live in a physical world with our everyday concerns, problems, jealousy, greed, seizing something from each other, thinking that something good has not reached us, dividing people by heroes and evildoers, executioners and victims. To the point, we “love” to appear in the role of a victim, because in this case we easily attribute the features of the executioner sitting in us to someone else or to a group of people. All of this are, the so-called, low vibrations of our soul, which either are consistent or inconsistent with similar vibrations in other people, thereby causing or not causing minor (but it seems to us, quite serious) problems.

But we live also in the world of spiritual and high vibrations, they comply with the vibrations of forces outside us and higher than we, which bear the name of God for the people in belief and another name for other people. And in this case, if we are on the “right channel”, then this is the uppermost happiness. In reality, certainly, they are not two different worlds, the world is one, they are different “views”, “observation posts”, and if our soul is strained on a high vibration, then the heroes and anti-heroes, executioners and victims, without stopping to be as such, become “perfect” and “useful”, in the sense that they send a message to us, and in this sense, they are neither good nor bad, all these people and the events, by and large, are a lesson for us.

When does our soul reach high vibrations? Clearly, via prayer, meditation and … listening to a serious music. Because music is born by the physical vibrations. Thank the Lord, we, Armenians, are able to create this kind of music, its roots are the church psalms and the verses of the 17th century.

Avet Terterian’s music sound these days. In the 1970s, it sounded unusual, sometimes not so clear and not so meaningful labels of “modernism” or “avant-garde” were attached to it. Now, for us, the audience of the 21st century, Terterian’s works are absolutely not “shocking”, in everyday and physical sense. They are shocking in the sense of sound energy and vibration, which, I repeat again, gives us a new “observation posts” and “views”.

Listening to such music, I would be careful to call it by an overly “applicable” word of “therapy”. It would be wrong to expect that on listening to Terterian’s works, our toothache or even the pain of the soul will go away. Rather, this music will help us to understand “why the pain is necessary.”
