“Heritage” says that it is an “aspersion”
Today, close to 17:30 pm, rumors were spread that assail has been carried out against Chairman of the “Civic Consciousness” NGO, Narek Samsonyan. Aravot.am asked Narek Samsonyan what actually has happened, and in response, he said, “The assail was carried out by 7 members of the “Heritage” party, which was associated with my yesterday’s interview with 1in.am, in which I had said that all political parties in Armenia are of no good and do not serve the interests of the citizens of the Republic of Armenia competently.” According to Narek Samsonyan, the attackers were 7 people and all of them were the members of the “Heritage” party. Samsoyan said the attack caused damage to the company’s property: the computer, the desk, and both Narek Samsonyan and 6 members of the “Civic Consciousness” NGO were injured. “They entered and began demonstrating an aggressive behavior, they were 7 people and they began beating us, and we responded back and they ran away. Some of our members do not feel well and now we are going to the hospital.”
According to Narek Samsonyan, the reason is political, whose grounds have incurred from the Facebook discussion of yesterday’s interview. The “Heritage” has once again proved that their practice is no different from other political parties’ semi-criminal or totally criminal vendetta manners. This is the true image of those who have patchy European orientation,” said Narek Samsonyan. According to him, they will demand a political responsibility from the “Heritage” party and expect a political evaluation from the whole political field about the behavior of the “Heritage” Party members. Deputy Chairman of the “Heritage” party, Armen Martirosyan, told Aravot.am that what Samsonyan presented is a total aspersion, this has been a well-planned provocation by the local authorities. “Provocations are organized against the “Heritage” party. Our young people are invited to drink coffee, to talk about politics, to discuss political issues and attack on our youth with a gun. This is organized by the local authorities, with the “help” of their youth, no young man from the “Heritage” party has carried out an attack. Narek himself has invited our youth to his office to talk, our youth have said that they can drink this coffee in a cafe, and they have said that they have coffee too and can sit down and talk in their place.”
