“Generally, we have no connection. It is a libel. He and his neighbors”, said the person introducing himself to be the driver of NA RPA faction MP Mher Sedrakyan (Tokhmakhtsi Mher) in conversation with Aravot.am. The matter is about beating of the Founder of “Internal National Liberation Movement” civil initiative, Vahan Martirosyan, and his wife. A day before, Vahan Martirosyan and his wife posted comments on the Facebook that they were beaten by Mher Sedrakyan’s “myrmidons” “in front of their two-year-old boy. “Yesterday, late at night, Mher Sedrakyan’s (Tokhmakhtsi Mher) myrmidons, approximately 5-6 people, attacked Vahan Martirosyan and his wife in front of their house in the Erebuni district of Yerevan, threw them on the ground and kicked multiple blows, mentioning some episodes from my husband’s social activities, more precisely, the protests and revelations against the criminal activities of GAZPROM ARMENIA gang last year. The case was reported at the Erebuni Police Department. I must say that in recent months, Sedrakyan’s bodyguard and his “jackals” were provoking clashes with my husband constantly. I should also mention that this morning, both my husband and I passed a forensic examination as advised by the investigator, and as a result numerous bruises and ruptures were found both on me and my husband’s body. Then, my husband’s health was deteriorated dramatically, and we had to call an ambulance twice, and the doctors stated a very high blood pressure with my husband and suspecting concussion as well as a fractured leg, they were immediately trying to move my husband to the hospital, but he refused, about which the doctors requested a written note from me and left,” reads the post.
The person introducing himself to be Mher Sedrakyan’s driver, who did not want to give his name, expressed bewilderment that there was a beating. “Whether they were beaten or not, he and his neighbors. We can see and understand all of it very clearly by talking with his neighbors. Or, with his mother. Should you see his mother, it would be clear for you who he is, what kind of person he is, and why he libels,” said the young man, without answering the question of why the civic activist gives the names of Mher Sedrakyan and his “myrmidons”. During the conversation, the young man also told that “those who saw his neighbors” have told that the neighbors constantly complain of Vahan Martirosyan and his wife for making the family disputes public. “The neighbors have told, enough, we all have families. This is what happened,” said the young man.
To our clarifying question, in other words, the dispute and the beating were with the neighbors, the young man replied, “The neighbors told that they were no beating. He was drunk, and what has happened, I do not know … We have no connection with him and we do not care at all. Simply, Mher is not here, if he were here, we would have even claimed for an honor.” The young man did not exclude that after Sedrakyan’s returning, however, they will claim for honor. “But I am not eligible, how can I say something to you on any matter instead of this person.” Mher Sedrakyan is out of the country, he will be back “close to September”.
