August 27,2015 13:00

In the conversation with Aravot.am, the representative of the Supreme Body of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) party, Aghvan Vardanyan, referring to the meeting with the President Serzh Sargsyan to discuss the Constitutional reforms, said that Serzh Sargsyan was told what they had told to the media earlier, “Our fundamental principles and recommendations are used up, there are about 20 recommendations that are more of accuracy and clarification character.

During the discussions of the National Assembly, we naturally will submit these recommendations too.” To our question about their reaction from the President, Aghvan Vardanyan replied that the reaction was quite normal. “It was neither our first nor the last meeting with the President and the representatives of the Specialized Commission. We are discussing these issues for about two years.

There is one major problem and disagreement with regard to the in connection with the electors, we think that there would be no electors and the president will be elected by the National Assembly. This is the main problem, but in all matters, I think, we will reach a mutual understanding, because our recommendations are more precise and more logical, and it is hard to go against common sense.”
