Our compatriots living abroad alarmed Aravot.am that the role of the Diaspora in the draft Constitution is belittled. They believe that the Constitution does not provide enough place and role for the Diaspora and it has not stated the extent of its participation in Armenia’s economic and political life. In addition, there is a complaint that the involvement of the Diaspora in the discussions of the draft of the Constitutional reforms is not provided too. In this regard, as we asked the representative of the ARF Supreme Body of Armenia, Aghvan Vardanyan, whether he agrees with the remarks. He replied, “I have not heard such complaints. I do not agree with the remarks. One person could write a letter, but if they have questions about specific subjects, let them apply and we will discuss.”
