September 10,2015 13:05

Member of the “No” initiative, David Hovhannisyan, announced that on Saturday, September 12, they are planning to conduct a “No” movement meeting, but the Yerevan hotels have refused to provide a conference hall. “Marriott”, “Ani Plaza”, “Golden Tulip”, “Hilton”, “Erebuni Plaza”, “Hayat”, “Elite Plaza”, “Yerevan Plaza”, “Opera Suite” and the Moscow House, after the preliminary arrangements, have refused to provide a conference hall for them. Aravot.am learned from “Marriott Armenia” that they did not have vacant halls for that day, and this is the reason why they have refused. “Golden Tulip” hotel reported us that they had refused because they were expecting experts from Italy on September 12, who were to train the hotel staff, and that’s why they did not have a vacant conference hall for that day.

The hotel emphasized that they knew about this training session still a month ago. “Erebuni Plaza” reported they are overloaded until November and do not have vacant conference halls. “Hyatt Place” marketing coordinator Lilit Yepremyan informed Aravot.am that on September 12-14, the hotel is hosting a closed conference, therefore, they could not provide a conference hall. She could not say exactly whether the initiative had reached a preliminary agreement or not. “I think, not. I do not possess such information. We are working with everyone, no matter what organization it is, we are trying to help them to conduct meetings and events as much as we can.”
