Those who are going to say “yes” to the new constitution, these people, obviously, are representatives of the oligarchic system. Those who meet with the president to discuss the constitutional amendments, they are servants of the regime. But those who are against the draft of the new constitution, but because they do not like its content and not because they have thoroughly “deciphered” Serzh Sargsyan’s upcoming two and a half years’ programs, these people are also the customers of “Baghramyan-26”. Because the problem actually is not throwing down the Constitutional amendments. The objective is much more “narrow”, as the first President of Armenia has said that under the new Constitution, the Speaker of the National Assembly shall rule the country, and the current president shall claim to this position, then that’s it, we all should be loaded with the task to prove this hypothesis. (When this forecast does not come true, no one will say, “Sorry, I was mistaken”). Hence, it turns out that the Parliament is wasting time on debating a personal problem of whether Serzh Sargsyan will go home or not, should go or not. A due respect to all politicians, including former and current presidents, I will allow myself to assume that the National Assembly, the politicians and the media should not focus on any person’s intentions. It would be much more effective to think about what to do that any person, no matter what evil intentions he has, will not able to carry them out.
Over 25 years, a political struggle is going on around the persons and thus becoming dull, uninteresting, petty, and poor quality. Inflating personal factor inevitably leads to dogmatism and paranoia. “Ooh, how well I slammed him!” – “Was that you who slammed our bro?” It is no coincidence that the dispute of the two parliamentarians was the most read articles in our website yesterday by the level of “let’s get out and talk”. Because we have taught our citizens to think by the level of persons rather than institutions, “if Poghos leaves and Petros comes to rule, can he take good care of us?” Fortunately, this mentality typical to me and my older generation is gradually losing its actuality, because both the citizens and the politicians are changed. The next generation, as I understand, sets a goal to eliminate the vicious and constantly crimes-generating system created in Armenia. This is more important than to prove that you are always right.
… Those who are protesting against the electricity price hike are again secret agents of the regime because they divert the public attention from the “no” front.
