After the three years of preparation, it is the second day that the shooting works of the feature film “Bravo, Virtuoso” have begun. The “Bravo, Virtuoso” is a joint production of the Armenian film producing “HK PRODUCTIONS” Company and French film production “Agat films” Company. “I am very happy for this cooperation, and of course, for the fact that Armenia, in fact, has so much potential that can shoot a film with an international company,” said the founder and producer of the main Armenian film producing HK PRODUCTIONS LLC, Hrach Keshishyan, at the meeting with the journalists. According to him, the new film has a bright and beautiful cast. “Each of them has been selected with great care and as a result of meticulous work,” he stressed.
Note that young actors like Samvel Tadevosyan and Maria Akhmetzyanova will be starring. Armen Jigarkhanyan will also be shot in the film, who will embody the character of conductor Hovhannes. Other characters are Rudolf Ghevondyan, Mkrtich Arzumanyan, Aram Karakhanyan, Arman Navasardyan and others. “The film is about a classical orchestra, whose existence is in danger. One of the musicians, who will cast Samvel Tadevosyan, will do anything to save his classical orchestra,” mentioned the film screenwriter and staging director Levon Minasian.
Back to the idea of shooting “Bravo, Virtuoso” film, H. Keshishyan said the representatives of the film co-producing famous French “Agat films” Company, Armenian-origin film director and film-maker Robert Gedikian, film producer Marc Bordure and Levon Minasian longed to shoot such an Armenian film, which will have an international resonance. They are sure that the film will be interesting in “abroad.” “True, the language of the film is Armenian and the shooting will be in Armenia, but if the plot is universal, it does not matter what language is spoken in the film or where the film was shot and who are playing there. The universal plot can touch everyone, and the film is based on the eternal struggle between good and evil, which is a universal problem from the very first day of creation of mankind,” said L. Minasyan.
He said that scenes of the film will take place in Yerevan and Gyumri. “I myself am from Gyumri and I want Gyumri also to take part in the Armenian full swing. It is not hard to see that everything is going on in the capital while the marzes seem not to exist. I do not think that the films shot in Armenia should be about Yerevan,” stressed L. Minasian. To add that the film is expected to be completed in March 2016. “We will try to fit in the deadline to be able to claim for any first class international festivals, – said H. Keshishyan, – and after the festival, it will be screened. We also want to break the stereotype and show that the film can simultaneously be both festival and commercial”. Note that the budget of “Bravo, Virtuoso” feature film is estimated approximately one million euros.
