According to Pritt Turk in process of developing there have been 2 key changes for Estonia: EU integration and e-governance
“E-Estonia it is a part of identity already”,- Tuesday, September 29, during “E-Armenia” conference said Ambassador of Estonia to Armenia Pritt Turk.
The conference was organized by Delegation of European Union in cooperation with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), Tumo Centre for Creative Technologies and the Estonian Embassy. During the conference were discussed the negative and positive points of e-governance and the next steps of the system.
According to Pritt Turk in process of developing there have been 2 key changes for Estonia: EU integration and e-governance. “Both of these directions have given us tools, as well as motivation. They have increased transparency in our society, supported democratic process. It has really been key process in our transformation. And of course, the process continues. We try to continue to be innovative, I think technology nowadays really changes our society and I think our governance system has to keep up, otherwise future generations wouldn’t follow our governance, our democratic governance structures”.

Pritt Turk mentioned that Estonia has been increasingly active inside European Union, but also outside of EU. In his opinion Armenia has become one of the key partners for Estonia. “We hope that our partnership will also increase our economic relations, our business relations. I mean there is huge potential with e-governance .”
