A meeting was conducted with actor and People’s Artist of Armenia Hrant Tokhatyan at the Loft self-development and entertainment Center. We asked the actor why he decided to visit his ancestral house in Kars. Tokhatyan told us that this house is not inhabited by Kurds, who came to meet him, but did not allow entering. “They said that they would not like to do it.
They met my guests and me at the yard warmly and saw off. I would love to go in, it was interesting, although only the walls of our house are left. I felt a strange feeling,” told the actor. He said that he had visited not a historical place but had returned home. “It was interesting to understand what it means to be originated from Kars. There were many stories about this house – family legends, that’s why I wanted to see it. Kars is very dear to me as if I had been there a hundred times,” concluded the actor.
