Banned Armenians to be also printed

“Banned Books Week” has been launched all over the world. In this regard, Armen Martirosyan, President of “Antares” Media Holding that publishes banned literature in Armenia for the third year, told Aravot daily, “In Armenia, fortunately, until now, no printing of a book is banned by the law, however, using the government leverage, some books are “arrested”. For instance, the entire print run of unpublished works by Charents printed in the framework of the state order in 2012 was under arrest, but a few days later, it appeared in the black market. Later, we published Charents and, thank God, no one uttered a word.” Without going into detail, our interlocutor added that “Antares” alongside the works of foreign renowned writers to is going to present the reader the banned works by some Armenian authors of their times.
