October 17,2015 17:00

The 9th-grade student of “Armenian Education” school, Tatev Barseghyan, recently, was granted a special certificate from the Universal Postal Union international jury. With her composition, she took part in the Correspondence international competition, the theme of which selected for this year was “Tell us about the world you want to grow up in.”

In the conversation with Aravot.am, Tatev said that she was awarded the “Jury’s Sympathy” and a certificate. “The requirement was to compose the thoughts in the range of 600-800 words and to talk about the world in which one would like to live and grow up. Incidentally, the essay should be in the form of a letter-writing and addressed to someone. I have written with pleasure, I have written that we should not fall into despair, we should keep going ahead and be sure that your goals will come true. It is important to listen to the voice of the heart,” said the student.

Tatev’s Armenian language teacher, Lilit Bakhshyan, said that two students from their educational complex, Ellen and Tatev, have sent an essay, and Tatev’s essay was selected. “Tatev is a very emotional person, she sings well and is a deep personality. I was extremely happy that her essay won. Prior to sending, Tatev’s mother had translated the essay into English because there was such a requirement. In the meantime, we worked with Tatev very kindly and became close friends. One thing is clear if you doing something with love, the result becomes wonderful. The jury in Switzerland has selected just one essay from each country. Incidentally, we were told at the “Haypost” that Armenian had participated in the competition of the Universal Postal Union and has never won any award. Tatev is the first that brings an award to our country.”
