When the “politics” will be changed

November 04,2015 12:27

The reaction of the opposition political forces and their representatives to the Moscow-Yerevan bus crash incident once again proves that the notion of “politics” in Armenia should be revised thoroughly. (And why only in Armenia, in the whole world). The reaction is roughly as follows: during our times, the buses were not crashed, as long as the regime is not changed, the crashes will continue. Simply human approaches: the grief, compassion and delicacy are contraindicated to our politics.

If this is the attitude to the disaster that took human lives, then everything can be said about such morally neutral matter of constitutional amendments. Many probably would agree that the semi-presidential system for current Armenia is the most optimal one, and in the next decade, in my opinion, it should remain unchanged. But no one speaks about it because it does not give reason for fiery speeches. Instead, strange things are said.

National Assembly MP Vardan Oskanyan, for example, expresses concern that the constitutional amendments jeopardize Armenia’s already “fragile democracy”. It should be assumed that the democracy was not fragile during his tenure as a foreign minister, it was very strong, and the peak of this strong democracy was March 1. This is the politics by the Armenian world outlook, “we were good,” “was it this way during our times,” “well, if we come, it will be good again.” One should clearly realize that “this way” is a whole two decades, and neither the “precedents” “nor the present ones” have nothing to brag about.

And as we have “one way” over 20 years, a simple conclusion can be drawn: the politics should not be a struggle for changing the name and last name of the first or any other figure, it makes no sense and significance. And which one has? Only a Man, an individual has significance. No Man should obey the politics, the society, the culture, but they should obey the Man. It is not beneficial to the internal national and international “hierophants,” because, in that case, they will not control the “people’s masses”, will not command, “hey guys, go to this side; hey guys, got to that side.” People are used that someone telling them such a thing. Therefore, in particular, the majority of Armenia’s population is sitting and waiting for the arrival of a “good king”, people’s brains are washed by the notion of a “national savior” over the centuries.

When people in Armenia and throughout the world rebel against such ideas, it would be the beginning of a new politics. No need to sit or lie down somewhere in the street for this uprising. Simply, you should see and love the Man among any representative of the 7 billion humans.
