This is probably missing to those who are fighting against Islamic terrorism
As to what is necessary to do to combat the new wave of global terrorism, it is difficult to say. Hopefully, serious institutions are working in Russia, European countries and the United States who are trying to answer this question. (To the point, these institutions should have foreseen the course of such events). But it seems it is obvious what should not be done.
No need to “avenge” on peaceful migrants, poor people who actually fled from the hell of their countries. They absolutely do not bear responsibility for the crimes of the terrorists. Law enforcers and intelligence agencies of European countries should be able to find the terrorists in the flow of the refugees to their countries. But the humane attitude towards the migrants, I believe, should not be changed. Surely, there will be some tension at a social level. Nationalist groups have and still will pop-up in Europe who threaten to burn mosques, refugee camps and so on.
No need to encourage such approaches, it is the one that the Islamist terrorists want, to create a chaotic situation inside the countries. No need to use terrorism as an excuse for attacking European values, allegedly the multicultural politics has failed, Germany for Germans, Sweden for Swedes and so on. Such plans and calls are not only dangerous, but also unrealistic. In particular, France cannot give up its history and culture of 5-6 centuries, and immerse in the medieval darkness just because an idea of creating a Caliphate has emerged in the sick minds of some maniacs. France cannot write on its flag any other motto except “Liberty, equality and fraternity”.

No need to use terrorism for “settling geopolitical accounts”. On the night of November 14, I was watching different TV channels like many others, including “Russia-24”. A senator named Klintsevich was interviewed by this TV channel and was uttering only one thought by the most illiterate way of “novoiazi”, “Well, when we were warning.” And it was not so clear, especially when and what they were warning.
My impression is that the world has not yet fully realized the danger of the “Islamic state”, and that is why various powers are trying to use these terrorists “against the geopolitical opponents,” at least at the campaign level. “Al-Qaeda”, and now also the “Islamic state” were able to move ahead just because of these “games” and it is mainly the fault of the West. This is the difference between the situation today and the 1930s. At that time, bother the West and the Soviet Union were equally trying to use Hitler against one another, until the moment came when everyone knew that Hitler is an absolute evil that threatens them all. Now, Russia and the United States, Europe and Iran, even Armenia and Azerbaijan need to realize it. Even Turkey. The Islamist terrorists on one side, the rest of the world (including, the “uncivilized”) on the other side.
