As it is known, today, NSS has disclosed an organized criminal group. Photos are posted on the internet, where tri-color flags with lions are seen in the apartments rented by this group, which correspond to the “Armenian Shield” Company coat of arms. We studied the Facebook page of this organization, where it is mentioned that the organization was established for the Kassab liberation and the leader of the Movement is Arthur Vardanyan. Note that the NSS report did not mention Arthur Vardanyan’s name. There are many pictures on Facebook page from the protest against the electricity price hike in Baghramyan Avenue.
Interestingly, in one of the videos posted on “Armenian Shield” page, Arthur Vardanyan slams the authorities and says why he is coming to Armenia. In the video titled “Interview with the leader of Armenian Shield Arthur Vardanyan”, Arthur Vardanyan complains that we are killing ourselves, we are not united, we have corrupt and ignorant people who are not able to connect two words together and devour eagerly. Then, he speaks of the events of 1 March 2008 saying that people have abandoned hope. “When you are out of a cartridge, take your dagger, if your dagger is not working, take a stone, and if the stone does not work, then try with your hands and nail. The people who organized knew very well what they are doing, 120 thousand Armenians were deported only in 2008. All of this should end up once and for ever and with one shot.” Why the authorities make the people emigrate from Armenia, Arthur Vardanyan’s answer is very simple, “The fewer Armenians, the easier to rule the country. If we fail to win our domestic enemy, we will be unable to win the external enemy… Swearing at the National Assembly, the ignorant manner of speaking, people who do not even deserve to clean shoes currently occupy positions. With all of this, how can we talk about occupying positions in the international arena … I do not think I am a Diaspora, I am Armenian, I should feel myself at home in Armenia.” In the video, he explains why he is coming to Armenia if he can live in a foreign land safely.
According to him, you remain a foreigner in a foreign country. “Even if I am the only citizen of Armenia to go up to the mountains and fight alone against the domestic enemy, I will go up all alone. I do not care whether they will throw me into a jail or kill me. I will sacrifice everything, I do not care. I will take one bullet, go up to the mountains and fight. I alone will not give Armenia. Let them criticize me, let them attach whatever label they want, I will die on feet as an independent Armenian. I will die, but I will not give Armenia to anyone, later on let them say whatever they want, I do not care. If I should go against the army all by myself, I will go and die, let it be my end. Rather than to become 80 years old and remember at my last breath what I could do but I didn’t do. I want to see my nation happy.”
