Yesterday, one of the members of the criminal gang disclosed by the RA National Security Services in one of the private residencies in of Nork-Marash district, an employee of the Public Television of Armenia, Arman Hayrapetyan, was working in the Public Television just for 10 months. Aravot.am learned about this from the PR manager of the TV Company Arusyak Zakharyan. In her words, Arman Hayrapetyan was a satellite broadcasting coordinator but not the broadcaster as it is mentioned by the media.
Arusyak Zakharyan stated that Hayrapetyan has worked by the shift mode, one day per week. “In other words, his duties were the classification of satellite broadcasting, which he was checking and the broadcaster was broadcasting.” Zakharyan said that now the Public TV Company is following legal procedures and all the circumstances and their connection with Arman Hayrapetyan.
To the question of Aravot.am of whether they have ever noticed any unusual and suspicious behavior by Hayrapetyan, or an aggressive action, which could be a threat to the Public television, Arusyak Zakharyan said, “As the Public television is a strategic importance object, hence, the control her in terms of security is very strong. Everybody is checked at the passing point by special equipment, there are cameras and the security is on a high level. This employee has not given any cause for suspicion, at least in the beginning. Maybe the investigation will detect something else. Hayrapetyan has not cased any problem with regard to routine activities of the Public Television.”
One of the other members of identified criminal group, Nelly Minasyan, as it became known yesterday, was one of the active participants of the protest against the electricity price hike in Baghramyan Avenue. Member of “No to Plunder” initiative coordinating group, Sofia Hovsepyan, told Aravot.am that Nelly Minasyan has not shown any unusual behavior during the protests in Baghramyan Avenue. “We had put forward a demand not to make any provocative or illegally action, hence, we were very watchful, and when seeing such things we were applying to the police. Nelly was participating in the protest from the very first day, she was not in the coordination group, but she had participated in other activities: awareness actions and similar other actions.”
To our question of whether they have noticed Nelly making anti-government, regime change and violence calls during the Baghramyan protests or display an aggressive conduct, Sofia Hovsepyan said, “We were not close, I cannot say anything about her aggressive conduct. We were not in such a relationship to understand whether she was able to do such an act or not. Such calls are strongly prohibited by us, we urged them either not to make such calls or to leave. I have not noticed any such bizarre reactions by Nelly. There were some calls in the crowd, “Serzhik, leave” and so on, but we had approached them and asked them to stop it.”
