“Why have they not disarmed Liska?” This seems to be the main “counter argument” about the operations carried out by the law enforcers in one of the Nork-Marash community private house. Unless, of course, people accept the official version that there were arms and ammunitions in the house. There is, as you know, another view, according to which there were no weapons in the house, the law enforcers have taken all the weapons and placed there and later have “staged” an attack. But, I repeat, those who are sure that Arthur Vardanyan’s group, however, had weapons, they say that the weapons should not be confiscated from the group because Surik Khachatryan’s and other suspicious elements’ houses who are standing close to the authorities are not searched.
Of course, it is too bad that there are illegal weapons in the hands of such individuals, their friends and their “bodyguards”. But to make it as a justification for not confiscating illegal weapons from elsewhere, it seems illogical to me. If I know that people in the world and the particularly in Armenia people get rich in a criminal way, yet it is not a justification that I, let’s say, do assaults on shops. One crime cannot be an excuse for another crime.
It is another matter that the government’s overly well-disposed attitude towards the “Liska-type” personalities causes people’s fail frustration. And the last move, appointing Tigran, the sun of Surik Khachatryan who has acted as the main hero in a number of criminal stories, an Assistant to the Director of “ArmForest”, indeed, is from this series.
I do not think that, as reported by the media, the arrested young man who has organized beatings since the school-age and, however, having drugs in the blood by the results of one blood-test, as well as suspected in two dire crimes can be useful to our forests in any way. Perhaps, the mission of saving our forests can be trusted to more reliable hands. But even if he is a genius forester, then there is a certain state ethics, according to which a person carrying such a “burden” on his shoulder should not hold any public office.

Eventually, this is the case when it is necessary to reckon with public opinion. It is due to such oversights that people do not even believe in the good deeds committed by the authorities.
