At the No. 7 electoral constituency, by the complaints of the ANC, the results of No 7/04 polling station was recounted. The number of “Yes” voters increased by 21 votes, 3 of which were cancelled, as a result, the “yes” voters became 386 from 361, and one of the “No” ballots was declared cancelled becoming 207 ballots from 208 ballots, one of the cancelled ballots was declared invalid. As a result, the number of invalid ballots increased by 5 ballots by becoming 35 from 30. A member of the Committee for No 7/04 electoral constituency, Representative of the ANC Alik Avagyan (in the photo), in the interview with Aravot.am, told that after the end of voting, when the Committee chairman opened the ballot box, the Committee members have faded because constantly “yes” ballots came out. “The envelope was opened by saying “Yes”, there were two observers present from the Helsinki Citizens Assembly, who were making notes.
When all the ballots were taken out, it became clear by the numbers marked by the observers that there were 407 votes “No,” 30 voted invalid and 187 votes “Yes.” They knew very well that they were losing about 2.5 times, therefore, they had to initiate other steps. In other words, they made a mess, stole 200 “no” votes and staffed with the same number of “yes” prepared in advance and the recounting result showed differently. The “yes” came out a winner. Their idea was working very well about how to make frauds not to be disclosed, they had not done these frauds on the account of our sealed ballots, they had additional ballots and had destroyed the stubs to avoid having any problems in the future. And if they had used the number of ballots that were provided, they would have more than 200 stubs and would have problems and in this manner, they will make frauds.”
He said that he is going to appeal several election frauds. “I am relying on the Helsinki Citizens’ Assembly data that must be presented as a clear proof that indeed 200 “No” ballots were stolen and substituted by 200 counterfeit “Yes” ballots.”
