This Turkish family in the photo protests against high apartment rents in one of the temporary shelters in Germany. The rental apartment in Germany is about 1 600 euros per month, hence, they are in danger of appearing in the street. Those who are protesting are moving to this shelter with their families, in turn, every week by drawing the government and the public attention. The walls of the shelter were covered by calls addressed to Angela Merkel, “No to self-service” and a box for donations was placed near the door. The government had promised to assist by reimbursing a part of the rental. But the protestants do not see it as a solution of the problem. Interestingly, when the Turkish family learned that Armenian journalists have come to listen to their problems began to tell how good friendly nations are Armenians and Turks. “In Berlin, we also have a lot of Armenian friends with whom we play football. Everything that is going on between Armenia and Turkey are political matters rather than personal. We want to live with Armenians in peace. We have no problems with you, the politicians have problems.”
