“The number of Muslim population in Europe will significantly grow. It is known that Muslims do not have one or two children but more. This snapshot may cause civilization and other consequences,” said the expert on Arabic studies, Araks Pashayan, in an interview with Aravot.am, referring to the growth in the number of Muslim population due to the flow of immigrants to Europe.
He noted that the civilization snapshot in Europe will be definitely changed and the security related problems will increase. “It’s interesting that many Europeans prefer to convert to Islam. The increase in religious institutions will make the presence of Islam more substantial. Many Muslim communities submit institutional demands to the governments of European countries. For example, to allow entering educational institutions with headscarves, to allow establishing Sharia “states.” All this will leave its trace.”
The expert on Arabic studies stated that Europe pursues the protection of human rights and fundamental freedoms, and maybe it is due to this fact to regularly present the critical situation of the migrants over TV. “Today, the 3rd and 4th generations of immigrants are living in France who are full citizens, accordingly, the state is trying to defend their interests.” In Araks Pashyan words, if the Muslim communities in European cause security problems, then not only the Armenian communities but the entire population will face serious challenges, “They say that a collective “psychosis” has begun. People are even afraid of appearing in the places of gathering. Ultimately, the security issue concerns everybody.”
