The opposition is often criticized from the opposition field, you are accused of continual failures, for taking part in the referendum, for saying loudly that it was falsified, after saying that you do not have observers and proxies. In an interview with Aravot.am, in response to our observation, ANC faction leader Levon Zurabyan said, “And why we did not have, we had enough for 700 polling stations. Those who say so, let them come to support and stay on a couple of polling stations.”
According to Levon Zurabyan, the task of the opposition is to criticize the government and try to come to power, “If someone thinks that the opposition is doing its job poorly, he/she should not attack the opposition but try to do the same job well alone. This is how the opposition stands. A better opposition is not the one who better curses the remaining opponents. A better opposition is the one who better curses the government. For example, we are focused only on the government and we are not interested in another target. Our dispute is with the government, our political opponent is the government authorities: Serzh Sargsyan, his regime and RPA. We have no other target. As the best form of opposition formation, I suggest all these critics not to criticize us but let them go and do the work that we do and do it better than we are doing. When we are fulfilling our mission as an opposition: attending the referendum, warning about the dangers, are fighting with all our efforts, achieve the greatest results, when the people massively go to vote but since we are able to be only in 700 out of 2000 polling stations, Serzh Sargsyan, however, is able to rig it, at least we can say here that we have at least fought, we have worked and we have done our job. We have done what was possible to do.”
