On December 17, 2015, in the village Tekali, Marneuli region, Georgia, during the public hearing on the topic of “Armenia-Azerbaijan, Azerbaijan-Armenia confidence measures: Do they require involvement of the civilians?”, Azerbaijani political analyst Zardusht Alizadeh, referring to the things to be done by the civic activists for creating an atmosphere of trust between Armenians and Azerbaijanis, announced, “We as civil society activists can do what we can.
There is no money, no resources but at least, we can access the Internet and wrote about the Armenians who have begun cursing and insulting Azerbaijanis, writing, “You dishonor the republic, with your unappeasable vulgarity and your hatred, you dishonor the republic, you should not talk about the neighbors like that, you cause harm to the Armenian people.” The same can be said to Azerbaijanis, “Guys, how do you behave yourself, what can be thought about Azerbaijanis. The level that you are writing, do you imagine that at some point, your sister, your mother and your wife may read it. The nationalists have become lawless. They have lost their conscience, they have no notion of honor and dignity. We must tell them this.”
