Hovannisian (Heritage Party, Armenia) addresses European People’s Party (EPP) Political Assembly on Armenia’s falsified referendum, political prisoners, and its anti-democratic state of emergency; the Mountainous Karabagh Republic’s (Artsakh’s) rightful sovereignty and territorial integrity; Azerbaijan’s continuing war of aggression against Artsakh, Armenia, as well as its own citizens; the conflicts of interest of certain European officials and the imperative for equal application of truly European benchmarks to all of the above.
