The capital of Czech Republic, Prague, is not only the world’s most beautiful cities but also one of the most famous resorts in Europe. More than 6 million tourists annually visit this city. It is no coincidence that Prague was called “Zlata Prague” for its beauty.

The Charles Bridge built in 1357, the Old City Square, the Prague Castle, St. Vitus Cathedral, the Astronomical Clock, the Wenceslas Square, the Dancing House, the Red-roofed buildings, Baroque Rococo and Gothic styles of architecture are the symbols and business cards of Prague. As for the Charles Bridge, you should see it at different hours of the say, in the evening, it is more beautiful with lots of lights. Here, you can always meet souvenirs sellers, street musical groups and artists.Chexia_6 Chexia_5 Chexia_4

Fortunately, the historical section of Prague is not destroyed during World War II. The historical section of the city is in the list of the UNESCO world cultural heritage. Prague is a city to walk on foot, each street has a unique charm, people are polite and very willing to help tourists in any question. To the point, the younger generation communicates in English, while the middle and older generation – in Russian.

One of the best corners of the Prague is Franz Kafka Museum, where the writer’s life and creative work is shown with photos, letters, papers and publications with the help of audio and video system. I was surprised especially at the great attendance of Japanese tourists to this museum. In the yard of the museum, you can see statues of two pissing men painted in green color, and many people were photographed next to these statues, so did I. The huge initial letter K of the name Kafka was also a place to be photographed for some people. The way of showing the items at the museum was very impressive, you can read some documents and materials by just opening the respective drawer.Chexia_2 Chexia_1 Chexia_7

The Jewish district of Prague with beautiful synagogues is also worth to see. We are proud to mention that the Armenian Holy Spirit Church is also located in the center of Prague, we have also an Armenian cross-stone there. Prague is not only a city of sightseeing, polite people, beautiful souvenirs and Czech glass but also a place with beautiful cafés and cozy restaurants where you can taste the most delicious dishes of the Czech Republic. Armenia has an embassy in the Czech Republic for about five years, and the RA Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador to this country is Tigran Seyranyan. The Armenians of Prague are respectable citizens: artists, doctors, lawyers, jewelers, sportsmen and entrepreneurs.  Prague is a city to come back again, you will not “get saturated” by only one visit.
