Trends of the world market have a significant impact on our economy. Starting from 2014, international prices for non-ferrous metals are falling which in its turn affects the revenues of mining and exporting companies in our country. Non-ferrous metal ores make a large volume in the export from Armenia, and if the prices are going down in the international market, then our economy receives less money from the export of ores. This is proved by the list of 1000 major taxpayers which shows that the mining companies, compared to previous years, ceded their positions. There are also companies engaged in this business that, on the contrary, have increased.
In the list of major taxpayers-2015, January-December months, the Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine (ACMC) ranking the 44th line has paid AMD 2 billion 935 thousand 352.6. In 2014, this mining company worked better was ranked the 40th and has paid AMD 3 billion 193 975.4 thousand. Zangezur Copper and Molybdenum Combine, however, in January-December 2015, rose to the top in two positions, ranking the 2nd in the taxpayers’ list. Last year, this company paid AMD 27 billion 505 901.6. In 2014, ranking the 4th in the list, it has paid AMD 19 billion 940 million 784.4. In 2015, the “Armenian Molybdenum Production” ranked the 117th in the list and has paid AMD 986,361.4 million. In 2014, this company ranked the 136th and paid AMD 906 million 134.3 thousand.
Akhtala Enrichment Combine also raised on the top by three lines compared to last year but in comparison with 2014, the taxes were reduced. If in 2015, the Combine ranking the 145th has paid AMD 804 million 297.8 thousand, then in 2014, it ranked 148th paying AMD 860 11.8 thousand tax. Teghut Company engaged in the exploitation of the Mine has paid AMD 3 billion 245 902.9 thousand tax in 2014 ranking the 39th in the list. In 2015, “Dundee Precious Metals Kapan” Company, the same as Kapan Mining Combine, which is also known by the name “Dino Gold Mining Company” ranked the 36th in the list paying AMD 3 billion 372 2192 thousand, and in 2014, the name of the company is missing from the list or may have performed by another name. In 2015, “Aparazh Mining” company ranked the 147th in the list of taxpayers paying AMD 794 558.2 and in 2014, it ranked the 135th paying AMD 907 761.5 thousand. The Avan Salt Combine ranked the 167th in the list paying AMD 706 646.1 in 2015 and in 2014, it ranked the 137th paying AMD 902 990.3 thousand. In 2015, Geoteam geological organization ranked the 188th paying AMD 622 788.5 thousand tax and in 2014, the company ranked the 470th paying AMD 245 million 206.4 thousand. In 2014, “Zangezur Mining” ranked the 228th paying AMD 512 769.7 thousand tax and in 2015, “Zangezur Mining” ranked the 362nd paying AMD 312 860.1 thousand tax.
