“Generally, I am not interested in David Harutyunyan and his colleagues. I have nothing to add on this” – so responded a Board member of “Civil Agreement” Party, NA opposition MP Nikol Pashinyan to the question of Aravot.am. The fundraising event of “Civil Agreement” party was held on February 18. The purpose of event was to collect money for the party expenses. Minimum and maximum thresholds for donations were defined: from 5000 to 20000. The event, so to speak, was closed, not subject to covering. Nikol Pashinyan was in a hurry and answered only one question. Aravot.am asked whether taking care for the party expenses in this way aims to convince not only the Head of Government Staff David Harutyunyan but also other people that his headed political force is not a governmental “project”.
Recall that recently in the Parliament, during the Q&A with the government officials, when Nikol Pashinyan promulgated rumors about import of sugar instead of raw material by NA RPA faction oligarch-parliamentarian Samvel Alexanyan, David Harutyunyan countered him, “You want to deny the rumors that you are somehow associated with the government, you are artificially created opposition, etc. I think that if this is the goal, then there is no need to do so. The fact that you are not associated with the government, I can tell about it from this podium, so there is no need to exert extra efforts in that regard.”
