If new opportunities and offers pop-up for displaying Ara Güler’s pictures, the Ministry of Culture will be ready to accept them. This was said by the Deputy Minister of Culture, Nerses Ter-Vardanyan, in an interview with Aravot.am. In his words, “At this moment, the question of creating a museum for Güler’s pictures is not urgent to give highly urgency to this issue, because an entire floor of the National Gallery is given to Güler’s works.
We do not have any photographer in Armenia whose works are given a whole floor.” Recall that earlier, unconfirmed information was spread out in the press that a museum is planned to set up in Yerevan for the world-renowned Istanbul-Armenian photographer Ara Güler’s pictures.
