David Babayan.”The situation is tense, but under-control”

April 03,2016 10:00

“The Azerbaijani side tried to make a number of attempts to break through the positions of Republic of Artsakh’s defense army’s position. They succeeded it some places, but they were thrown back with losses”, said the spokesman of Republic of Nagorno Kharabakh’s president David Babayan.

In his words the situation is tense, but is under-control: “Everything is done to protect both our independence and security also our honor and dignity”.

According to David Babayan the fact the Azerbaijani side first started the military operations is easy to prove: “Of course, we will present evidences, but we will wait for the appropriate response. Unfortunately the response should not be soft, but quite tough because when the Azerbaijani side hit the helicopter of Artsakh’s defense army, which wasn’t presenting any harm and wasn’t going to start a fight, how did these 2 two stricken Azerbaijani helicopters. There are evidences, but we see that Azerbaijan doesn’t bear responsibility. However we hope that this time the situation will be a little bit different”.
