“Today, a large-scale war is going on, Azerbaijan not only violates the cease-fire but also carry out large-scale military operations against the people of Nagorno-Karabakh. In this situation, I applaud Serzh Sargsyan’s policy regarding the recognition of Nagorno-Karabakh’s independence. It is useless to try to negotiate with Azerbaijan if the large-scale military operations are one-sided,” opines political analyst Stepan Grigoryan.
According to him, by recognizing the independence of Nagorno-Karabakh, Armenia will ensure the safety of the people of Nagorno-Karabakh, “This is a serious move, certainly, with dangers given the fact that the international community might take offense and consider that we leave unilaterally but today, Azerbaijan made a serious mistake and we need to show this misstate all over the world. Their barbaric activities in Talish are inadmissible, the Azerbaijanis have not changed their policy which is to deport Armenians and destroy the NKR.”
The political analyst is waiting for Russia’s second statement, according to him, the first one was rather neutral and not proper for the allied government, “A posture should be displayed. The international response and all the calls are addressed to both sides but the people of Armenia, Karabakh Armenians have not started the war, the war is against them. This is proven by the fact that the Azeri corpse, their pierced tanks and helicopters are in the territory of Nagorno-Karabakh. It is so easy to prove that they have started the attack but it is surprising that until now a sign of equal is put between us and Azerbaijan.”
According to the political analyst, Turkish authorities are unpredictable in their actions and it is very possible that they will attempt to interfere in this war but, in this case, Russia will also interfere, “It will be a big war, I urge Azerbaijan to cease the actions, take their leftovers and get out and start negotiations again.” To our observation that there are rumors that the Turks subversives appeared on the battlefield against Armenians, and Serzh Sargsyan proved that “Turkey is the only country to provide unwavering support to the Azerbaijani adventurism.”
