Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan announced during the governmental meeting this morning that the ceasefire that was reached on April 5 at 12:00 was agreed between the Chiefs of General Staff of Azerbaijan and Armenia in Moscow.
The government meeting began this morning with a moment of silence for all the fallen soldiers from the last couple of days. According to the CivilNet reporter, Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan gave a short speech, in which he stated that the Nagorno Karabakh Army has maintained control in the north, south, and central regions. “Talish and Seysulan [northern villages in Mardakert region] are under the control of the Karabakh Defense Army,” said Ohanyan.
He added that these actions by the Azerbaijani side, especially the use of heavy artillery and the presence of mercenaries were unprecedented.
