Robert Kocharyan with his wife Bella Kocharyan had visited Yuri Bakhshyan’s house to express condolence and console and had a conversation about the disclosure of October 27. In an interview with Aravot.am, one of the victims of October 27, Yuri Bakhshyan’s wife, Anahit Bakhshyan, told an episode from her conversation with the second President Robert Kocharyan one month after the murder. On November 27, Robert Kocharyan and his wife, Bella Kocharyan, had visited the Bakhshyans family to express condolence and console. They have said many warm words, deep regret and condolences showing that they share the pain. As Mrs. Bakhshyan told, “In our house, he said to me that we will do everything to reveal, we will bring specialists from outside, we will invite experts, and I do not know what else they were planning to bring. He gave such promises. And I very openly, look, if it is not revealed, then we are going to suspect you. He said, I know. I was very focused on it at that time but later, during this time, I remember it constantly.” According to Mrs. Bakhshyan, the trial process has fully confirmed her suspicion, “He, without helping to reveal October 27, confirmed that we accuse him and recognize him guilty. He must have done everything to disclose and show the public that it is not him. But he did not do it and let the public decide the continuation.”
