Our fallen soldiers have donated one last chance to us with their lives to save the state
Russia is losing the confidence of Armenians. In the near future, Russia, if it wants to regain respect and earn the trust of Armenians, cannot do it. Russia took over the territory of Armenia but it has not taken possession of the citizens of Armenian, and one day Russia will realize that they have lost the most important thing: the trust and respect of Armenians. Blood was shed by Russian weapons in the war unleashed by Aliyev, Russians have suspended the advancement of Armenians by demanding a ceasefire and now, God knows what else they are thoughtful and most importantly, for whom they are thoughtful. The propaganda balloon that “Russia is Armenia’s security guarantor” has blown up. Russia does not want to prove anything, explain Armenians and the people of Artsakh. Ridiculous are those who seek to protect Russia’s interests in Armenia more than Russians with demagogic explanations “let’s not make Russia angrier”. They have not understood that Russians do not need their protection and they consciously have taken the side of Azerbaijani. Now, Aliyev’s opinion and the opinion of Azerbaijani people is more important for Russia, for example, Medvedev felt obliged to fly to Baku from Yerevan and lay flowers at Shahid Park in Baku and on the grave of Heydar Aliyev. The question is still waiting for the answer as to what extent Russia was aware of the decision on Azerbaijani aggression. If Moscow knew but kept silent and has concealed the decision to attack its strategic ally Armenia, this is a new matter of thought. We have paid a great price a few days ago by throwing the enemy back in the battlefield. This ceasefire is formal, it is violated every day.
It is not excluded that Azerbaijan is again initiating an attack with Russian weapons as the Armenian army has blown up the Baku terrorist plans. But the Armenian soldier has revealed not only our invincibility but also many other negative phenomena which Armenia’s authorities and the opposition were reluctant to reveal for many years reveal. It seemed that the whole world knows what the unbridled Aliyev and today’s Azerbaijan represent but it did not prevent for Azerbaijan to start a new terrorist attack.
It seemed that the positions of the Armenian side are strong in the Karabakh settlement process but now we are going to face a new and more complex situation in the new negotiations if, of course, they will manage to bring Aliyev back to the negotiating table. It seemed that our security guarantee Russia, with which we tied our “luck”, throwing the EU Association Agreement negotiated almost for four years aside will be next to us but Russia is now serving the Azerbaijan’s interests playing “neutrality” throughout the four-day war. It seemed that the world should speak in another way with the people imposing ceasefire to the opponent in 1994 but it turned out that we have wasted our victory by underestimating the enemy, and now we are offended why the world does not speak with the Aliyev regime in another language. Let us not blame anyone apart us. The enemy has not been changed and will not change.

We needed to be changed by building a strong statehood in order to change the enemy and our ally and friendly countries and make them reckon with the interests of the Armenian state. We can no longer boast that we have imposed a cease-fire on the enemy in 1994, we have affixed the victory in the battlefield in the diplomatic front because we as a result we have weakened these actual victories in both fronts every day. Armenia’s authorities do not have time, it is time to made quick decisions and implement actions. It is a matter of days and hours. It is not good to let matters take their course because one day everything will explode inside and there will be nothing to control. Other will decide for Armenia while Armenia’s officials together with the public will be informed about these decisions from the pages of the Russian press… Our fallen soldiers have donated one final chance to us by their lives to save the state. It is still not too late, everything can be corrected if desired. Just we need to be aware that this is our last chance for the enhancement of the state. We will never get this chance. Or even if we have such a small chance, we will not be allowed to use this chance.
