People must be loved as they are. Rather than when they meet our expectations. In the second case, it becomes a trade: I will love you if …
For example, “Oh, Armenian people, I will love you if you make me a president, a minister, a parliamentarian or any other big “boss” through the elections or revolution because it will speak of your, my dear people, intelligence and foresight. In other words, it will mean that you, dear people, realize what a great guy I am. Well, you do not appreciate my unique merits, you give and take bribes, are indifferent to the political struggle, then I’m upset with you, I do not love you and you deserve this scoundrel government.”
Own people (i.e. ultimately, we ourselves) also must be loved as it is, without exaggerated glorifications and without unforgettable self-flagellation. We must accept both the person’s, groups of people’s and nation’s incompatibilities. The same person can resist the enemy’s forces in excess sitting in the ditch for a few hours and vote in favor of the governmental candidate for 5 thousand drams. The same person can swear after the elections and curse the government authorities. It is not that they are different people, half a hero and half a monster. In the search for some “sterile” and “refined” cases is disorients and deludes the seekers by placing them into the repeated circuit of admiration and disappointments.
The representatives of our people who are united to the parties and are engaged in politics, should try to understand their fellow citizens and not be upset with them under any circumstances. Indeed, why people in one case are ready for self-sacrifice while in the other case they are indifferent. Or maybe, too rigorous. For example, why is a second chance not given to another once not successful oppositionist?

I do not a partisan and I do not have the answers to these questions, I simply suggest to perceive the reality soberly and not to be upset when the citizens are not particularly involved in the political struggle. I, for example, would analyze a little bit, maybe other forms of organizing the struggle are necessary.
… One of my friends, responding to a stupid libel posted on a website, was upset and said, “I will not forgive them this one.” Although, everything is clear but I think there is no insult that cannot be forgiven. I know that my words would not be perceived correctly. Simply, let’s bear in mind that living offended is a heavy burden.
