Genocide survivors arrived from different countries attended “Against the Genocide Crime” second global forum. Kobanda Aloes, one of them, survived the genocide in Rwanda. In an interview with the journalists, he said that the UN should recognize the Armenian Genocide, “It is unfair that the international community calls genocide only the crimes that are committed after the Holocaust.
All the UN member states should recognize the genocide.” Kobanda Aloes noted that the experts consider the Tutsis genocide the third one after the Armenian Genocide and Holocaust, “Within 10 days, 1 million 150 thousand Tutsis were killed in Rwanda. A whole family consisted of 25 members were killed. I survived only because I was receiving my education in Belgium”.
