The first president and his supporters believe that now it is not the time when it is necessary to “instigate” an internal political struggle because we must unite all forces to resist the foreign enemy. The second president and his supporters, on the contrary, believe that now it is the right time to “instigate” and maybe as a result, it could be possible to destabilize the internal political situation and seize the power. Incidentally, actually, it is spoken of the existing defects that truly threaten the security of Armenia and Artsakh. Although, the first view is more close to my thinking but it seems to me that both have the right to exist. Fighting for the power is not deplorable and as to who does it by what methods, it is up to them, I am not a judge to judge them.
Our young people are organizing protests against the current policy of Russia. The war truly made not only our internal defects more salient but also Russia’s policy in the South Caucasus. It is a classic imperial politics to keep people dependent on wars and blood. However, it seems to me that the protests will not change this policy. The citizens of Armenia should raise issues before the authorities of Armenia, and pertain to the Armenian-Russian relations, we really have questions to ask our government. On the other hand, Putin’s fans who in my opinion have significantly reduced in Armenia in April believe that the protests are organized by Obama, Soros, the Judeo-Masons and other “bad people.” They also have the right to express this kind of opinion.
Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov’s visit to Yerevan also gave rise to diametrically opposite opinions. The functionaries claim that it was the next brilliant victory of our diplomacy while the opposition supporters believe that it was a “shame” and “scandal.” Everyone has its own interest to say this way or the other way. I think that there are very few things in our life that we can attribute the epithets “brilliant” or “shameful”. In reality and, especially, the diplomacy, all phenomena have “pluses” and “minuses” by a certain quantity and certain ratio. But let one driven by its own interests sees only the “pluses” and the other – only “minuses”. It should also be treated calmly.
What in my opinion is unacceptable and deplorable is the dissemination of lie, often intentionally spreading rumors by the rival about combat actions. I do not think that those who spread out such rumors are enemy or opponent’s agents. Here, there might be three types of motivation: 1) collecting “clicks” and “likes”, 2) appearing an “opposition”, 3) solving political problems. But if there is no state, there is no political problem.
