“These days, the RA President has given answers to the questions of the agenda and of the public concern. And the decrees mentioned by you are apparently taken in that context,” said the Chairman of the Public Council at the RA Defense Minister, Gegham Harutyunyan, in response to the question of Aravot.am about his interpretation of the decrees of RA President Serzh Sargsyan, according to which Komitas Muradyan (Head of Communications and ACS Department of the Defense Ministry), Arshak Karapetyan (Head of Intelligence Department of the General Staff of Armenian Armed Forces) and Alik Mirzabekyan (Deputy Defense Minister) are dismissed from their posts.
We were curious to learn from Mr. Harutyunyan whether the rumors were thus confirmed by these decrees that several Defense Ministry officials have failed in their tasks during the military operations instigated by Azerbaijan on the night of April 1-2. In response to our question that Aravot.am studying the declarations by high-ranking officials of the Defense Ministry revealed that, for example, the richest deputy minister, however, according to official declarations, is the Head of Logistics Department and Deputy Defense Minister, Alik Mirzabekyan, so whether it is possible that this fact could also be the cause for the dismissal of the deputy minister, Mr. Harutyunyan did not comment.
