Besides carrying out activities to create infrastructures in Artsakh, the “Hayrenaser” (Patriot) organization is making donations to the families of victims of the four-day war with donations made by Armenian Americans.

As founder of the organization, Armenian American Stepan Sarksian told “Armenpress”, the program will be ongoing, and the families of the wounded will also be provided with assistance. The organization is allocating $500 dollars to each family of a victim and a letter of thanks for the sacrifice that the soldier of that family made.

The members of the organization have already visited the families of Armenak Urfanian, Gegham Mkrtchian, Aghasi Asatrian, Hrach Muradian, Bagrat Alexanian, Tigran Berakchian, Sarkis Khalafian, Robert Abajian, Masis Tovmasian, Sasun Mkrtchian and Norayr Hajiyan. Stepan Sarksian informed that the organization has already sent 100 sleeping bags for the border guards in Artsakh. “On April 21, through the mediated efforts of the regime of Kashatagh, we sent 100 sleeping bags to the frontline in Berdzor. This is just the beginning. There is also a plan to send more similar necessary accessories to the soldiers,” Stepan Sarksian said.

“Hayrenaser” (Patriot) organization continues its school construction project. The plan for the construction of a new school in the resettled Herik village in northern Kashatagh was launched just before the four-day war. “Hayrenaser” (Patriot) organization was established in 2011 to make contributions to the homeland continuously, extensively and in a more coordinated manner. The mission of the organization is to promote the protection and development of the independent Armenian state, identify the major issues of concern and take action to find the appropriate solutions. “We are carrying out projects to create infrastructures, as well as information and educational projects in Armenia with our supportive friends and others who are concerned about the future of Armenia,” Sarksian said.
