I suggest quite a different tone to speak to this country, “You’re still our allies. Are Azerbaijanis and Turks also your allies? Very well. Do you want to sell arms to Azerbaijan? It is up to you. But we too need to buy weapons from somewhere else as we have decided not to allow any new genocide.” I think it is possible to explain this to Russians in a relaxed and friendly way.
