Winner’s worthy posture

May 13,2016 23:07

The winner must behave himself accordingly. The winner must be generous, high and indulgent. Irrespective of what price he has paid to win. Irrespective of the fact that he has won not a worthy rival but let’s say someone villain, be it a person or a state. The winner does not need to compare himself with the defeated. The winner must not agree his moves with the moves of the defeated.

The winner looks at the defeated from the top, from the height of his victory. It is the defeated that has an alternative, to either accept his defeat with dignity and deserve not the forgiveness of the winner but the respect, or to pass to insidious and despicable actions in order to mitigate the pain of his defeat.

After shaking hands with the defeated opponent, the winning athlete should not have allowed himself to hands with him making faces behind his back would not allow him to grimace and raise the middle finger. First of all, it is a move worthy of a loser not a winner. Secondly, this is not a move appropriate for a person who respects himself: shake hands and then swear in the back. If you are doing it, you would better do it facing him without shaking hands, stand in front of him and looking into his eyes raise your point finger or show your tongue. You would not do it, would you? Because it is not an appropriate action for an athlete. And was it appropriate to do such a thing in the back? Was it worthy to blemish on your obtained victory in just seconds? Was it worthy to diminish victory with such a non-victorious gesture?

Not pronouncing by the winning country at least the name of the opponent country during music contest broadcast on public TV is simply childish. Such and lower actions are allowed to Azerbaijan, this is understandable, it is the country that is known for only low and not worthy respected actions in any sphere. It is a defeated country. But what was our benefit to display such childishness? The joy of winning should cause only pride rather than give rise to “offended” manifestations. Reversals are unacceptable for me: and what if Azerbaijan does this way and that way… Azerbaijan has never been a standard for me, moreover, for imitating. I wonder whether Azerbaijan and its outstanding representatives are considered worthy phenomenon for imitating for such reversal carriers. The photo that is enclosed to this article is a symbol of a true winner for me. Victorious Armenian soldier who comforts the Azerbaijani grandmother left alone by the defeated army. This is called a victory.
