Hayk Khanumyan wife, Diana Movsisyan, told in an interview with Aravot.am that they have presented a reported to the NKR police today, at about 13:00 p.m. on the beating of Khanumyan. Note that the Head of the Nagorno-Karabakh National Assembly opposition “Renaissance” faction and Chairman of “National Renaissance” party, Hayk Khanumyan, was subjected to beatings today at the central square of Stepanakert. In this respect, NKR President’s spokesperson Davit Babayan noted, “Knowing him very well, I can say that there might be a personal problem.
But legally, no one has applied to the police. As a person, I can only express my personal opinion, unfortunately knowing him well, knowing that he can insult people and so on … it is possible that such a thing could have happened. But there is nothing legal, no application has been opened at the police. What can we talk about if there is no fact?” While in an interview with us, Hayk Khanumyan’s wife argued that they have presented a report to the police. She detailed, “At around 13:00 p.m., we have opened a file. At this point, it is examined by the police. And as to what Davit Babayan says, I’m not going to comment. He generally has a problem of adequacy.”
