June 09,2016 12:48

“Artsakh is in war, Artsakh is facing the enemy, blood is shed in Artsakh every day, thus there should also be a special attitude in the political life,” – said former deputy of the Supreme Council, Azat Arshakyan, on June 8, at the meeting with the journalists at “Andradardz” press club. He believes that an emergency situation should be declared in Artsakh with mobilization, “There should be an alarm, the activities of political parties should have been terminated because part of our homeland is in the war. A part of our country is in the war, now, you are saying, let them shake the boat, let them drown the boat, I do not agree with it. It is a war, we have not declared but we know and those who do not know worse for them.

There is a war there and you cannot shake the boat.” NA RPA faction lawmaker Lernik Alexanyan said that some people for political purposes are trying to make Artsakh a subject of domestic political speculations, “In this situation, I think it is unacceptable to make our domestic kitchen accessible for the international community. I agree that Artsakh is a warring country and thereby Artsakh differs from Armenia. No matter we say that Artsakh is Armenia it is not so, even our bordering areas are not with Yerevan, people there are fighting and feel it on their skin, we must only give estimate and assist, this is another issue. Make Artsakh a subject for speculation in this pre-election year is also concerning, and I see the sprouts of it.”
