Recently, Aravot.am addressed the import and export of Armenia-Azerbaijan remarkable goods. Note that according to the State Revenue Estimates, in 2015, ammunition was exported from Armenia to Azerbaijan. In this regard, the SRC explained that Armenia’s shooting team attended the European Olympics Games in Baku and has imported “Bullets 5.6 mm” 400 bullets to this country worth of USD 84.55 customs value. We had also reported that there was also an import from Azerbaijan to Armenia.
In 2014, a carpet was imported to our country. In this regard, SRC assured that the Committee has indicated the country of origin of the imported good, i.e. it was manufactured in Azerbaijan but was imported from another country. Aravot.am inquired from SRC about the country and who has imported the Azerbaijani carpet. In response to our question, the Committee replied in written form saying, “On October 15, 2014, the Institute of Ancient Manuscripts “Matenadaran” named after Mesrop Mashtots imported 3.17 s.m. and USD 596.45 dollar worth carpet (1940-50s) and “Shaki-Shamakhi” from the US to Armenia as a cultural value, the country origin of the carpet is Azerbaijan.”
